Thompson Hine LLP is pleased to announce that Megan S. Glowacki has been named partner in charge of its Cincinnati office. Glowacki succeeds Todd M. Schild, a partner in the Corporate Transactions & Securities practice, who was elevated to the firm’s Executive Committee.
Glowacki, a partner in the Labor & Employment practice group, focuses on counseling management clients in all areas of labor and employment law. Her practical and timely advice addresses a comprehensive range of business issues and is designed to help employers mitigate risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In addition, she represents employers’ interests in litigation involving employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and wage and hour disputes. She also represents private and nonprofit employers in collective bargaining negotiations, contract and discharge arbitrations, and investigations and actions involving unfair labor practice charges, and she advises on the interpretation of labor agreements.

Glowacki is widely recognized as a legal, business and community leader. Her distinctions include being selected to the Benchmark Litigation 40 & Under Hot List and as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star. She also received the Ohio State Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Award and the Ohio State Bar Foundation District 1 Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under.
Committed to pro bono work, Glowacki is Thompson Hine’s Cincinnati office pro bono chair and a trustee for Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor Foundation, and she serves on the Pro Bono Partnership of Greater Cincinnati Advisory Council.

Glowacki earned her J.D. from University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.S., summa cum laude, from University of Dayton.
