February 6, 2024 – Thompson Hine LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Michael N. Samuels to the firm’s New York office as a partner in its Real Estate practice group. He joins Thompson Hine LLP from Moses Singer, where he was chair of the Real Estate practice group.

Samuels represents a broad range of clients nationally, including property owners, real estate equity investors, corporations, major financial institutions, pension funds, developers, commercial tenants, and high-net-worth individuals. He counsels clients in an array of industries and is well-versed in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financings, and development of large multifamily apartment projects, trophy office buildings, mixed-use developments, and commercial properties across the country.
Samuels also has considerable experience advising clients on property management-related issues and representing both landlords and tenants in negotiating significant office, retail, industrial, warehouse, and garage leases and other agreements and documentation involving building ownership and landlord/tenant relationships.

Samuels also noted that he was eager to work with Project Management Consultants (PMC), Thompson Hine’s wholly owned subsidiary comprising licensed architects, engineers, construction managers, financial strategists, and experienced construction lawyers. PMC provides unique services including design and construction partnering facilitation and mediation, owner’s representation, project and risk management consulting, and public and private finance consulting. Samuels commented that the firm was forward-thinking to have developed such a resource.
Samuels earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Yeshiva University.
