New Ventures Team Member Spotlight: Meet Jacob Denham
Jake is an associate in the New Ventures practice group and works in our Columbus office. He works with various types of funds and emerging companies. He assists in advising funds from formation through wind-up and provides counsel to companies through the entirety of their business lifecycles. In short, Jake helps funds prepare documentation so that they can raise and invest money in companies, and he helps companies grow and innovate. New Ventures work is not merely a job for him–it is a passion. There are few areas of law where one gets to help others achieve their dreams while simultaneously creating jobs, helping others learn and stimulating the nation’s economy. When taking a break from the New Ventures universe, his favorite hobbies are fitness and reading. He is a white belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and participates in cerebral palsy-adapted CrossFit. New Ventures attorney Jasmin Hurley, a proud veteran of the United States Army and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, is committed to providing education and support to the community through various organizations.
