Thompson Hine’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Initiative invites you to the next installment in our Stand Against Injustice series. Join the conversation as we welcome Professor Angela Davis. Internationally known for her ongoing work to combat all forms of oppression in the U.S. and abroad, Davis is the author of nine books and has lectured worldwide. Her work as an educator at the university level and in the larger public sphere has always emphasized the importance of building communities of struggle for economic, racial and gender equality.
Moderated by Thompson Hine partner Marla Butler, this session will focus on social justice and its history, as well as resistance movements, grassroots organizing, and the evolution of activism.
