Aaron C.Mandelbaum

Associate

Aaron is an associate in the firm’s International Trade practice group. He focuses his practice on advising clients on compliance with international economic sanctions, export controls, and U.S. import laws and regulations. Aaron is also involved in assisting clients with complex cross-border transactions, anti-dumping and countervailing duty litigation, utilization of international and preferential trade agreements, and customs classifications. Most recently, Aaron has counseled clients navigating requirements under the Export Administration Regulations.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Aaron gained valuable experience to complement his practice by working in the Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Commerce and in the Office of the General Counsel at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Aaron also gained exposure to trial practice while serving as a judicial intern for The Honorable Mark A. Kearney, Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
