Anthony practices commercial real estate law with a focus on representing shopping center owners and developers with acquisitions and dispositions, as well as with strategic planning including expansions, reconfigurations, parcelization and subdivision, and leasing of real property, including key roles in the firm’s representation of:
- A publicly-traded owner of shopping centers in its parcelization and contribution of approximately 40 single-tenant net leased properties into a joint venture between the owner and its investors to seed a $1 billion platform;
- A national real estate management and development company in its conversion to a REIT;
- A publicly traded REIT in its $1.93 billion joint venture acquisition of 71 shopping centers with one of the world’s leading investment firms;
- An automotive parts manufacturer in its $1.6 billion sale to a German-based auto parts maker;
- An equity investor in its investment in a $1 billion wind farm energy project spanning several properties in the Midwest; and
- A telecommunications company in its approximately $44 million portfolio acquisition of cellular communications towers across the United States.
