Dwight is counsel in the Immigration practice. He provides guidance on employment-based immigration to clients in diverse industries, with significant experience in the information technology/high-tech and manufacturing sectors, as well as in the health care field. His health care experience includes advising hospitals, rehab centers, clinics, nursing homes, home health care providers, and staffing companies on obtaining employment authorization for foreign-educated health care professionals.
Dwight counsels employers on all aspects of immigration compliance and represents them before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. His experience includes advising on I-9 compliance issues, assisting with I-9 self-audits and representing clients in federal audit proceedings. He also provides guidance on preparing for immigration raids and site visits.
Corporate clients and their employees rely on Dwight to prepare nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions; H-1B, TN, and L-1 visas; I-140 petitions; applications to adjust status; and other essential filings. He is well-versed in multiple pathways to permanent U.S. residence, including labor certification, Schedule A health care petitions, and filings for foreign nationals.
