Imani is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Transactions & Securities group. She focuses her practice on advising clients in the investment management and financial services industry, with a concentration on regulatory compliance matters. Imani also advises private fund clients (e.g., private equity funds, hedge funds and venture capital funds) on securities laws and related issues such as formation, offerings and regulatory reporting.

Prior to joining Thompson Hine, Imani professionally advised C-suite executives in the financial services industry on the development and implementation of revenue-driving business strategies. While attending law school, Imani leveraged this professional experience to serve as a legal assistant with teams in the National Basketball Association, National Football League and Major League Soccer.
