Examples of Kathryn’s experience include:

• Represented a general contractor and served as second chair at a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in which the jury awarded in excess of $3 million to the general contractor in a case involving an employment dispute between the general contractor and its former employee.
• Defeated an insurance company’s appeal to the New Jersey Appellate Division in an attempt to overturn an order which afforded a roofing subcontractor insurance coverage in an underlying litigation.
• Represented a general contractor on a $25 million HUD project in New Jersey and obtained an arbitration award in an action filed by a drywall subcontractor which resulted in the denial of the subcontractor’s claims for out-of-scope work and awarded damages to the general contractor for delays caused by the subcontractor.
• Successfully represented several homeowners in litigation involving the defective construction of their residences, while obtaining jury verdicts and/or favorable settlements to compensate clients for their associated damages.
• Counseled several contractor clients on COVID-19 business closure mandates and successfully obtained waivers in order for those contractors to continue to perform work while business closure mandates were in effect.
