Melanie is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. She focuses her practice on facilitating the purchase and sale of commercial property from initial negotiation to closing, including drafting purchase and sale agreements, analyzing title and survey matters and preparing transfer documents. She also advises borrowers and lenders on financial transactions.

While attending law school, Melanie was part of Emory Law’s Transactional Law Certificate Program, receiving the Transactional Law and Skills Certificate upon graduation. She also served as a law clerk at a boutique commercial real estate law firm in Atlanta and served as a summer clerk at a law firm based in Baton Rouge.
