Pat is Senior Counsel with Thompson Hine LLP's construction and real estate practice groups. His transactional construction practice involves negotiation and preparation of construction and design professional agreements and project management and risk counseling on a variety of projects, such as regional shopping malls, industrial projects, offices, hotels, convention centers and major sports venues such as MLB parks, NFL stadiums, NBA arenas and NHL arenas. He has prepared and negotiated agreements on behalf of owners, contractors, architects and engineers. A significant portion of his practice also includes commercial real estate development, including purchases and sales, financing and leasing.

Pat has lectured extensively on construction contracting issues with a variety of trade groups, the American Arbitration Association, the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Bar Association. Pat assisted in the facilitation of the Ohio construction reform panel and has assisted in drafting the new legislation for the Ohio Construction Reform Law.
