Antitrust, Competition & Distribution

Our work has spanned many industries, and we strive to learn our clients’ businesses and competitive practices. We represent a diverse set of manufacturers, service providers and other business entities on antitrust, competition and distribution matters in a wide range of commerce, including advertising, accounting services, automotive aftermarket supplies, biotech, chemicals and coatings, coffee, computer equipment and software, construction supplies and equipment, consumer products, energy and energy distribution, financial services, health care services, information technology services, e-commerce, insurance, material handling equipment, medical equipment, oil field services, outdoor power equipment, pharmaceuticals, publishing, retailing, soft drinks, technology (including semiconductors, online sales and payments), transportation and shipping (all modalities), sports and entertainment services, and telecommunication. Our practitioners have been recognized in particular for their manufacturing and distribution knowledge and experience, and representation of financial services firms and retailing.

Members of our group have demonstrated leadership in their fields. Several partners are or have been on the board of governors of the antitrust section of their state bar association, including one who has served as chair of the board of governors. Additionally, partners from our group have served as committee chairs within the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association, and one has been an officer of the section. Members of our group speak at or participate regularly in programs on antitrust issues before the American Bar Association, their state bar association and other organizations. Partners from our group have also served as federal and state prosecutors. One partner is listed in An International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers and in the Guide to the World’s Leading Competition and Antitrust Lawyers. Group members have addressed The Conference Board’s Council of Chief Legal Officers on trade secret, unfair competition and other issues and The Conference Board on antitrust issues.

Our lawyers have written extensively on antitrust, distribution and unfair competition issues, contributing to both books and journals. Publications written or edited by our members include the following:
