A complimentary webinar series presented by Thompson Hine LLP
Please join us for Session 6 of our SECURE 2.0 Deep Dive series.
SECURE 2.0 includes ways for 401(k) plan participants to access their funds without penalty when certain difficult life events occur. This includes pension-linked emergency savings accounts, which can help stabilize lower-income workers’ financial circumstances by allowing them access to a modest nest egg while potentially narrowing their retirement savings gap compared to higher-income workers. This session aims to de-mystify the emergency savings accounts provision, explore a number of questions regarding how it works and discuss guidance that may be forthcoming from the Department of the Treasury and IRS regarding this provision.
Presenters:
- Dominic DeMatties, Partner, Thompson Hine
- Tyler C. Watson, Associate, Thompson Hine
We also invite you to join us for upcoming sessions in our SECURE 2.0 Deep Dive series. Our webinar series is designed to dynamically adapt each month to address the latest government guidance, burning questions and implementation challenges. In addition, we’ll share what we are hearing from clients, service providers, the government and other stakeholders while also providing our insights.
