Kerem is counsel in the firm’s International Trade and Transportation practice groups. He advises U.S. and foreign clients on a broad range of international trade and customs matters, including trade remedies and import compliance. Kerem represents clients in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before U.S. government agencies and courts. In addition, he works with clients on import compliance, including identifying risks and developing strategies to remain compliant with U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements.
Kerem also advises automotive original equipment manufacturers in navigating and enhancing their compliance with the federal and state regulations for automotive safety, including Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and TREAD reporting requirements. He assists clients in addressing key National Highway Traffic Safety Administration requirements, including certification standards, homologation, importation and enforcement actions.
