Kristin is counsel in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation group. She advises employers on ensuring their employee benefits plans comply with ERISA and has extensive experience in health plan compliance, including the Affordable Care Act and MHPAEA. She also has broad knowledge and background with ERISA and Title I fiduciary responsibilities.

Prior to joining the firm, Kristin spent more than a decade at the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration in various investigative roles, most recently as a supervisory investigator for health plan investigations. She also served as a senior advisor providing technical and enforcement guidance on all health plan investigations at an EBSA field office. While at the Department of Labor, Kristin was selected to serve on a national task force overseeing the agency’s MHPAEA NQTL enforcement program.
